dick cheney is the new poster child for marriage equality? seriously? or is this the gop's way to get him to shut the fuck up about everything else?

    Naw, he's just giving the standard dodge that a lot of Conservatives have been giving for awhile that it's a states' rights issue, because as we all know bigotry is a state vs federal issue.

    I agree with Kenny--and, if we'd stuck to "it's a states' rights issue" back in the Civil Rights era, we'd likely still have a segregated South.
